I had every intention of going into law but life had other plans for me. When I was 19, I suffered unexplained neurological symptoms that did not follow a “normal” diagnosis. I was prescribed MANY rounds of medications that neither resolved symptoms nor improved my quality of life. A family member had attended a Craniosacral Therapy symposium at University and thought of me. After 6 treatments I was off of the medication, and was given my life back. This was the trajectory that changed my career path. The following fall I started the massage therapy program at Lethbridge Community College, completing my first CST level 1 that year. 19 years later I now practice CST exclusively within my massage therapy practice.

My practice consists of treating what I find from a neutral space so the body can heal. For babies and kids, “symptoms” are a by-product from birth trauma; the sooner we treat, the more functional kids will be as they grow. My intention has shifted to from massage therapy to providing advanced CST to adults and specializing in pediatrics for the past 8 years. Seeing the benefits and transformations in a family dynamic is rewarding.

For the past few years, my continuing education are focused on advanced studies through Upledger Institute; including completion the specialized pediatric courses that will eventually be a pediatric designation through Upledger Institute. I’ve written my Technique designation exam, and became a Teacher Assistant for Upledger Institute. I was invited into the Teacher training apprentice program which will complete my hours within the next few years with hopes to teach internationally while maintaining my clinical practice.

When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll find me doing something active with my husband and daughters; We love to adventure around the world experiencing cultures and food.
