Craniosacral Therapy &
Somato Emotional Release
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is done with a light touch, feeling various locations of the body to test for the ease of motion and rhythm of the cerebrospinal fluid pulsing around the brain and spinal cord. Soft-touch techniques are then used to release restrictions in any tissues influencing the craniosacral system.
CST is able to alleviate a wide variety of dysfunctions, from chronic pain and sports injuries, to stroke and neurological impairment.
Benefits can include relief or lessened symptoms of:
Migraines and Headaches
Chronic Neck and Back Pain
Autism / Motor-Coordination Impairments
Stress and Tension-Related Disorders
Infant and Childhood Disorders
Brain and Spinal Cord Injuries
Chronic Fatigue / Fibromyalgia
TMJ Syndrome / Scoliosis
Vertigo / Dizziness / Brain Fog
Post Covid -19

Somato Emotional Release
Energy Cyst Formation: The concept expanded that physical forces that were put into a patient’s body at the time of an accident or injury may be dealt with by the patient’s body in one of two ways:
The injured body may immediately begin dissipating these forces and the natural healing process will follow.
The physical forces imposed upon the patient’s body may be retained rather than dissipated.
If these forces are retained, the patient’s body must adapt to this deposit of abnormal physical force. The adaptive response is to isolate or “wall off” the abnormal force so that a sort of “energy cyst” is formed. As a result, the body adapts and requires the body to detour energy and function around the energy cyst. The dysfunctional area does not cooperate with normal and vital tissue and fluid motion and inhibits normal body function. A reasonably healthy body can adapt to and work around these areas, however, as the years pass the adaptive energy required for function is spent, the adaptive pattern of the body begins to lose some of its effectiveness. Symptoms and dysfunction begin to “appear” which become more and more difficult to ignore and suppress.
An example of this would be “I have this pain that just won’t go away; I’ve been to a doctor; they’ve run labs a/o tests and they come back negative”. This is a classic example of when adaptability is no longer effective, and the body is trying to get your attention to “rid itself” of this energy cyst.
These energy cysts can be left by an accident and have an emotional component at the time of injury. The most common that is documented are people who retain the effect of the injury or accidents are those same people who harbor anger, resentment, fear, etc. regarding the incident. Once these negative feelings are discovered and released the bodily dysfunction with its attendant symptoms are free to leave the patient’s body.
